It’s over twenty-five years since I started making percussion instruments. Over that time my hair has disappeared, my eyesight has deteriorated, and my memory has become less reliable. Technology has come partially to the rescue – no, not with a hair transplant, but with a means to easily document all of my research and innovations that I do every day.
Essentially this blog replaces my workshop notebooks, and combines it all into a multimedia format that is quicker and easier to use. Initially for my use, I now publish the posts in the hope that it is an illuminating and interesting insight into the diversity of the jobs I undertake and my approach to the work.
